Boys Construction
and Development
The BeBoys web site showcases the talents
of a major player in the construction
and development industry. Boys employ
more than 100 highly skilled people
and their new web site had to communicate
their successes and vision in a professional
and imaginative way.
Xpansion UK worked from an initial design
(created by a North West design agency)
to create a stunning web site that is
viewable in all major browsers (including
Mac). The site has a fully featured
custom built content management system
which allows new pages to be added easily.
An in-built text editor allows for text
to be added with formatting and the
graphics editor ensures graphics are
resized to the perfect dimensions so
they can be inserted into pages with
ease and precision.
Google analytics tracking was integrated
to provide very powerful visitor tracking
statistics.
The site was developed in PHP, XML,
CSS and MySQL. mod_rewrite was used
for search engine friendly web page
names.

Tiger Fixings
Tiger Fixings have created a unique
product that revolutionizes the traditional
building fixings. Their products are
being rolled out now across the UK in
a major advertising campaign.
Xpansion UK worked again with a North
West based design agency who created
the initial design. Xpansion UK developed
a template driven web site which is
very easy to maintain and employs search
engine friendly web page names which
are created dynamically as the site
is navigated.
Google analytics tracking was integrated
to provide enterprise-level visitor
tracking statistics.
The site was developed using PHP, XML
and CSS and is viewable in all major
browsers (including Macs).

Little Cowboys
and Angels
The LittleCowboys and Angels e-commerce
web site beautifully displays clothes,
toys and unique gift ideas for 0-5 year
olds. The site has a fresh, playful
feel which sets the tone perfectly for
the products on sale. The site benefits
from full e-commerce integration with
payment processing by WorldPay. Other
features include Gift Vouchers, Tell-a-friend
and automated Birthday and special occasion
reminders by email. The administration
system allows full control over the
product catalogue, voucher system and
also includes an order processing system.

UKPA
UKPA is a small business support provider,
aimed at helping small businesses and
the self-employed take the stress and
strain out of setting up and running
a limited business. UKPA's online
services provide accounting, your
own logo and branding, your own letterheads
and business cards, your own e-mail
and web addresses - and all at the
click of a button.
Xpansion UK acted initially in a consulting
role, producing a technical specification
for UKPA's credit card processing
requirements.This involved specification
of the hardware, server software and
application software as well as the
low-level programming functionality
required.

Built In Appliances is a vast Ecommerce
site that supports unlimited retailers
across the UK each with their own
product catalogue, specials and prices.
The site is completely database driven
and retailers are able to set their
own prices and specials from a content
admin area of the site. The site has
many innovative features such as intelligent
product searching, real-time finance
calculations, perfect partners, accessories
partnering, mini-shopping cart, credit
card processing with Netbanx and also
a proprietary credit card processing
system developed by Xpansion UK.
The most complex site Xpansion UK
have yet developed, Built In Appliances
continues to attract new retailers
who benefit instantly by getting a
state-of-the-art Ecommerce site which
has taken Xpansion UK and BIA years
to develop.

The WishBone
Company
A site to capture the imagination.
A striking and memorable design which
compliments the unique range of products
offered by the WishBone Company. This
e-commerce site allows visitors to
specify their own Gift (Wish) Message
with their purchase and uses a powerful
'Send-an-ecard' feature which generates
traffic to the site through recommendations.
The credit card processing utilizes
SSL certificate encryption and encryption
of credit card details using our own
bespoke software. The administration
system allows easy and complete control
over the product catalogue and e-cards
functionality.

Flamingo Radiator
Cabinets
Creators of the finest bespoke and self-assembly
radiator cabinets.
The Flamingo Radiators web site makes
an early distinction between two different
services: bespoke and made to measure
self-assembly. Customers choosing the
self-assembly service choose their cabinet
style and grille style. They then enter
the number of cabinets they require
and the dimensions and the price is
calculated in real time allowing the
customer to see what they're ordering
and how much it will cost before purchasing
by one of three payment methods. Credit
Card processing is handled by custom
integration with PROTX.
Flamingo are set to be the No. 1 provider
of radiator cabinets in the South and
traffic to their site is increasing
on a daily basis!

The Online Kitchens web site is a new
venture by the Built In Appliances group.
The web site supports unlimited regional
retailers enabling customers to find
their nearest branch by postcode or
by the map on the home page.
The massive central database of product
information and images is all maintained
by Online Kitchens head office and Retailers
are able to choose the manufacturers
and prices available from their own
regional web site
In a first for the industry, customers
are able to add their items to a floor
plan on the web site and build their
kitchen plan visually before continuing
to purchase online!

Bargains
The TDA Ecommerce site is another showcase
of Xpansion UK's abilities in this area.
The site has many features geared to
aid the customer at each step of the
way. Customers can search by product,
manufacturer or category and sub category
and also view (and choose from) available
delivery dates in their postal area.
Xpansion UK developed a generic product
feed (controlled by TDA) which is used
to display TDA's products on Kelkoo,
Dealtime, Pricerunner, CIAO, Bizrate
and Pricegrabber.
TDA benefit greatly from a very comprehensive
content admin system which allows instant
changes to most aspects of their website.TDA
also make use of Xpansion UK's proprietary
credit card processing system and we
will soon be implementing finance with
Able2Buy.

Sectors
Two years in the making, Biz Sectors
is an advanced online web site and ecommerce
site builder supporting small to medium
businesses.
The Biz Sectors system fully supports
re-branding and enables complex ecommerce
sites to be built in hours rather than

online in a standard browser. Creating

Stitched Textiles
The SST Ecommerce site is a showcase
of the products and courses offered
by the school. The site has a wealth
of information which can be updated
easily by means of a content admin system.
The admin system allows full control
over the Ecommerce product catalogue
and other areas of the site: the student's
gallery, course pricing and news items.
The SST site also has a fully-featured
message board used by the students and
is the most widely used site of it's
type on the web!
